The Waterfront in Ipswich has seen a drastic facelift, with new marinas, restaurants, bars, and homes emerging from a Victorian Wet Dock. It is a fantastic place to stroll at any time of the year and a great setting in which to have a meal while soaking up the unique atmosphere

Transport
Ipswich has very good train links with London via Liverpool Street with the journey taking just over an hour. In the opposite direction there is a regular service to Peterborough. Whilst in the town there are 2 convenient Park & Ride services which run to the town centre every ten minutes. Both the main bus terminal and the train station are located in the town centre.
